The Push to Fit sewage system was placed in the top 20 of the Designs of Substance Competition.

Drainage pipes based on the original Roman sewage system. Short pipes made from flexible rubber. The pipes have a slight taper, which allow for a simple and secure 'push- to- fit' system.
For extra security the pieces can be riveted together.

The Favela’s paths are narrow and highly irregular, Therefore the pipes are small and flexible and are easily transported. No special tools or training is required.

The system can be placed in the existing open sewage ditches, to make a quick and effective improvement to the existing plumbing, which is a culprit for many diseases in the Favelas.
